Here’s a look at our new double wide manufactured home

When things didn’t work out with our barndominium after a year and a half of waiting, we needed to find something fast. Then we toured a manufactured home and were pleasantly surprised! It took a while to find the right model, but after touring every single home dealer in our area we ended up finding this model. Some of those homes can get very high end, but they also have budget models too. We would love to buy one of the budget models and use it for an air bnb when the time is right. But anyway here’s the details on our model

The Fancy by Live Oak Homes

It’s 4 bedroom 3 bathroom, 32×76, 2254 sqft

The initial price is $179,000 but there’s upgrades and additional charges depending on where you’re putting the home. Since we purchased the lot model (for faster delivery) it came fully furnished, but we want to change out a few things like the drywall and flooring. They also have an option to have the home custom built, it just takes a little longer, I think it was 12 weeks, some places we looked at took 6 months.
